Registering with a GP
To register with a GP surgery in Swindon:
- Use the NHS Find a GP tool – enter your postcode to see surgeries near you
- You must live within the surgery's catchment area
- You'll usually need photo ID and proof of address (e.g. utility bill from the last 3 months)
- Registration typically takes 5–10 working days
Many Swindon surgeries (including North Swindon Practice, Hawthorn Medical Centre, Phoenix Surgery) offer online registration. You can also visit in person or download a form from the surgery's website.
