Harry Morris – The greatest?
Harry Morris is widely regarded as Swindon Town's greatest ever player. Named by supporters in 2013 as the club's all-time greatest, Morris spent seven years at Swindon (1926–1933) and remains the all-time leading goalscorer with 229 goals in 279 games. He holds the club record of 47 goals in a single season. His goalscoring record has never been matched at the County Ground.
John Trollope – One-club legend
John Trollope is a true one-club legend, spending 21 years at Swindon (1960–1981) and amassing an unrivalled 889 appearances for the club – a record that still stands. He was a key member of Swindon's famous 1969 League Cup triumph when Town beat Arsenal 3–1 at Wembley. Trollope's loyalty and consistency make him one of English football's greatest servants to a single club.
Don Rogers – League Cup hero
Don Rogers signed at age 15 and played 490 games across two spells at the club, scoring 178 goals. He is best known for scoring twice in extra time in the 1969 League Cup final against Arsenal, sealing Swindon's historic Wembley victory. The South Stand at the County Ground was renamed the Don Rogers Stand in his honour in 2008. A true Swindon legend.
Harold Fleming
Harold Fleming is the second-highest all-time goalscorer with 203 goals in 332 appearances over his 17-year career (1907–1924). He also represented England. Fleming Way, the road outside the County Ground, is named after him – a lasting tribute to one of Swindon's earliest stars.
Colin Calderwood
Colin Calderwood was made captain at just 20 years old and helped Swindon achieve back-to-back promotions, reaching the top flight in 1990. He also played a key role in securing Premier League promotion again in 1993. A commanding defender and leader during one of the club's most successful periods.
Fraser Digby
Fraser Digby was the club's fourth-highest appearance maker with 505 games as goalkeeper. He played a crucial role in Swindon's rise to the top flight in the early 1990s and is one of the most popular goalkeepers in the club's history.
