The Link Centre
The Wildcats play at the Link Centre in West Swindon (Westlea), about 2 miles from the town centre. The leisure complex is owned by Swindon Borough Council and run by Better (GLL). It opened in 1985 and features an international-sized ice rink (56m x 26m) – recognised as a centre of excellence for both ice hockey and figure skating. The rink has a capacity of 1,600. Recent history
In September 2023, the Link Centre ice rink was damaged by flooding, affecting the cooling systems and ice base. The facility underwent extensive repairs with new ice technology installed, reducing electricity use by around 20%. The rink reopened to the delight of Wildcats fans and the local ice hockey community.
