Libraries in Swindon

Swindon has 13 libraries across the town – five core libraries run by Swindon Borough Council and eight community libraries supported by parish and trust groups. Core libraries (Swindon Borough Council)

These five libraries form Swindon's main library service:

  • Central Library – Town centre, main hub
  • Highworth Library – Extended hours with support from Highworth Town Council
  • North Swindon Library
  • Park Library – Extended hours with support from Swindon South Parish Council
  • West Swindon Library – Extended hours with support from West Swindon Parish Council

Community libraries

Eight community libraries are run by parish and trust groups, with support from Swindon Library and Information Service:
