Parks and green space
Lydiard Park and Coate Water Country Park are free to visit. Parking may have a charge. Barbury Castle is an iron-age hill fort with walks and views. Savernake Forest, about 30 minutes away, is free to visit.
Walks and town
Old Town has independent shops and cafes. A stroll from the town centre to Old Town or around the parks costs nothing. Check What's On for free events in the summer period.
